Volunteers work about 4–5 hours a day, 5 days a week, with two days off. The tasks vary according to the needs of the farm and include gardening, the vegetable garden, small maintenance and construction tasks, cleaning and organizing the house, and caring for the animals.
We do not seek professional experience, but a responsible, active person with initiative. We will explain each task and work together when necessary.
In exchange, we offer accommodation and the opportunity to live and learn in a rural setting, surrounded by nature and animals, being part of the day-to-day life of our project.

Activities & Shift

LIULFE's day-to-day life combines animal care, farm work, and maintenance of the rural project. Activities may vary according to the season and the needs.
🐄 Animals: feeding, water, cleaning spaces, and caring for Lala (our cow), the sows Pili and Mili and Papi, our dog.
🚶 Walking with Lala: accompany her on walks around the farm and surroundings, helping to keep her active and ensuring she is safe.
🌱 Vegetable garden and garden: watering, planting, weeding, crop maintenance, and care of the green areas.
🔨 Maintenance: small repairs, painting, assembly, cleaning, ordering, and improvements of different spaces on the farm.
🏡 House: support in cleaning and maintenance of the common areas.
We are looking for an active, responsible person with initiative, comfortable working outdoors and with animals.

Rules

LIULFE was born as a rural living project based on respect for nature, animals, and the environment. We seek people who connect with a simpler, more conscious, and responsible way of living, where daily work has a purpose.
We expect absolute respect towards animals, care of resources, responsible consumption, and sensitivity toward the surroundings. We value initiative, curiosity, creativity, and willingness to learn, but also the ability to enjoy the everyday: working with your hands, walking with Lala, caring for the garden, or simply spending time in nature.
LIULFE is not just a place to stay: we want to create a community of people who contribute, learn, and take away an authentic rural life experience.
