Most likely, volunteers will stay in Muscat and help with full-day trips to Wadi Shab around 3 days per week. These days usually last approximately 7–8 hours, and volunteers will normally have around 4 days off afterwards.
However, depending on bookings, some weeks may be different. You may instead help with shorter activities around Muscat, usually around 3–4 hours, or occasionally stay closer to Wadi Shab and assist with shorter half-day tours there.
Because tourism bookings can change from week to week, we cannot guarantee the exact same schedule every week. We always try to organise the program fairly so that longer helping days are balanced with more free days.
This position is best for someone who is flexible, independent, enjoys outdoor activities, and is comfortable adapting to a changing weekly schedule.
