Trip Hostel is in Rio's North Zone — real local Rio, off the tourist track. We need someone friendly and organized to handle guest messages and check-ins across our Airbnb properties. Program Details
Trip Hostel is a growing project in Rio's North Zone — we're building a space where travelers and locals mix, and volunteers are core to that. You'll be the main point of contact for our guests, responding to messages and helping with check-in/check-out across our Airbnb units. Alongside your room and meals, you get free access to our on-site martial arts gym, plus transport help when needed. Volunteers who show real reliability are considered first for future paid roles as we grow.
Activities & Shift
Your main focus is guest communication — responding to messages on Airbnb/WhatsApp, coordinating check-ins and check-outs, and answering guest questions. Shifts are typically 5 hours/day; we especially need coverage across morning, afternoon, and night windows, so your specific shift will be discussed based on availability. The routine is generally steady, though occasionally we may ask for help with something outside your main role — the exception, not the norm.
Rules
Same as cleaning position — reliability, early communication if unavailable, respect for shared spaces.
