This experience hands down was my best one yet erasing my 1st not so good experience with my NC trip. This host will even accommodate when needing time off and days off are flexible. It's only 5 hours a day so plenty of time to do what you like while living in PR or just resting and relaxing if thats your thing. I had a really nice experience here. i got to meet really amazing people, and my roommates were honestly the best. shoutout to maurva and allison for making everything feel so welcoming and easy going. the house itself is nice and it's at a perfect place where you can walk everywhere. The community is also super supportive. Sometimes there are water challenges but everyone works together to figure it out, and it's honestly never been something that's stopped us from getting things done. Coming from Hawaii I wasn't sure what to expect when I got here. I had an awesome experience here! Chris and Allison are amazing. Chris in the chats he's always on things and he's out of sight I don't mind as long as you stay out of trouble , Allison is the best, everything is handled promptly any issues or addressed and although there's been water issues because the city doesn't have the right infrastructure they manage everything the best way and manage to keep a smile on all of our faces! They have a few long-term team members which just goes to show how amazing this place can be! 10/10!!

My experience at SharePuertoRico has been great. I help with maintenance at our volunteer house, the owner's house, Airbnb properties, and water upkeep. Volunteers receive a shared room, $25 in weekly groceries, a TV, and free tours. The managers are professional, communicate well, and always work alongside volunteers when needed. I've gained experience in housekeeping, teamwork, and communication. The atmosphere is welcoming, and I've enjoyed meeting new people. I had a wonderful experience as a rainforest tour guide with the home. Everyone on the team is so much fun and always helpful when you need it. The work load was exactly as agreed upon and whenever I needed days free was able to get them. Would highly recommend this company if you find yourself traveling in the home!

My experience with SharePuertoRico was amazing! I made lots of friends not only with the people within the company but also with locals from PR. The work is as advertised and as long as you complete your required volunteer hours you are free to do whatever you want with the rest of your time. The host ads flexible with the schedules and will work around days that you want off. The location is perfect and right by multiple bus stops and train stations. The host provides group activities such as weekly volleyball games at a nice court.
Just be prepared to actually work for your required hours

I had a great time throughout my stay. The other people I stayed with were all extremely friendly and welcoming. I would highly recommend to anyone. I enjoyed it so much I plan on going back. They take care of you from housing, food and providing things that make your stay much more enjoyable

The management was very unprofessional. The work expected compared to the treatment was unfair. I was a cleaner, and I was not able to take a shower after my long day of sweating and working. Upon arrival, my friend and I were told there was a water truck that fetched water, and that was how we would get it. We agreed, but when we arrived, they sold the water truck, and we were left without any consistent water to do basic human things. It would have been helpful to notice, and overall the program lacked truthful communication. It was hard to discern this experience from the home itself.

The host and management lack communication and have high expectations for you as a volunteer. My friend and I travelled here together, and I wouldn't recommend it because they don't give both of your days off together. We were told about the water issues, but they made it seem like it wasn't as bad as it actually is. We had to go to Planet Fitness to shower and couldn't even flush the toilet. There were a few welcoming people, but other than that, they weren't so social.
