Shifts
5 days per week, approximately 5–6 hours per day.
Work will be organised around available produce and preservation projects, so activities and timing may vary depending on harvests and farm priorities.
Cooking, dinner preparation, washing dishes, and cleaning shared areas are additional co-living responsibilities and are separate from volunteer work hours.
Rules
No smoking on the farm.
Respectful behaviour is expected at all times.
We’re easy-going and flexible—come ready to learn, work, and be part of the farm community.
Follow agreed working hours and communicate in advance if you cannot complete your planned shift.
Follow safe and hygienic food-handling practices at all times.
Wash hands, clean surfaces, and keep equipment and utensils clean during food preparation.
Follow agreed recipes, preservation methods, and instructions when using jars, heat, fermentation, or preservation equipment.
Do not consume or discard preserved food without checking with the farm team first.
Label and date preserved foods clearly and store them in the agreed location.
Keep the kitchen and work areas clean and organised after each session.
Cooking, dinner preparation, washing dishes, and cleaning shared kitchen areas are scheduled co-living responsibilities shared by everyone living at the farm.
These household responsibilities are separate from assigned volunteer work hours and are additional to the daily project hours.
