Program Details
This is my personal creative hobby project, not a commercial business. Inspired by 250-year-old heritage trees and the artistic spirit of Van Gogh in Southern France, I am transforming my historic seaside house and garden in Tongyeong. I host travelers to exchange culture, ideas, and skills. Together, we collaborate on gardening, space styling, lantern making, mural painting and outdoor cooking spaces (including a long-term farm project on Yokjido Island). I believe creating something together allows us to make what one person could never achieve alone.
Activities & Shift
• Shifts: Around 5 hours a day, 5 days a week (Weekends are completely free for travel).
• Main Activities: Assisting with gardening/landscaping, light DIY and woodworking projects, art-themed space decoration, and preparing shared dinners.
• After Work: We enjoy cooking and having dinner together, sharing stories about culture, travel, and life experiences. Evenings and weekends are yours to relax and explore Tongyeong and nearby cities like Busan.
Rules
• Minimum Stay: 3–4 weeks preferred to build a meaningful connection.
• Preferred Helpers: Mature, proactive, and independent solo travelers who love hands-on creating, cooking, and cultural exchange.
• Respect & Cleanliness: Treat the historic property and shared spaces with respect, keep communal areas clean, and maintain a collaborative, open-minded attitude.
