My experience was amazing. From the very beginning, I felt welcomed and truly part of the team. Everyone was so kind, friendly and always willing to help. The most special part was spending time with the children and seeing firsthand the incredible work the whole team does every day. I'm leaving with so many great memories and lessons that I will never forget. I'm very grateful to have had this experience and I 100% recommend it to anyone looking for a meaningful volunteering experience.

I had such a beautiful experience at the project. It's very 'go with the flow'. You help out where needed, play with the kids, support homework, do farm stuff. It really becomes your normal life for a while. The kids are energetic, affectionate, and so fun to be around. If you're flexible and open minded, you'll genuinely love it here. I'm so grateful for my time there 🫶.

I had an amazing month at the project! A truly unforgettable experience. Quick tips: • Food is safe & almost no mosquitoes. Don't fear Malaria or food poisoning! • I used Uber (Nairobi) & Easy Coach (Nairobi-Bomet). It's cheap, safe & comfortable :) • Keep in mind extra costs like mineral water and cooking gas I loved playing with the kids (I miss them a lot!), farm work, and our daily adventures. The hospitality of all the people in Bomet allowed me to learn a great deal about their culture and enriched my perspectives on life. Thanks Noah and everyone at the project for making this so special!

My time at the project was truly wonderful and a very unique experience. The people and especially the children were incredibly loving and welcoming. It was deeply touching to see their happiness and gratitude despite very simple living conditions. I can highly recommend this experience to everyone! The volunteer work is very flexible, without fixed tasks - you simply help wherever support is needed at the moment. This experience opened my eyes and gave me new perspectives on life! I will carry the project and everyone I met there in my heart forever!

The organization is a really nice and lovely place with a family atmosphere. The kids are open and active and they love to play with you. Everybody is really nice and they care for the volenteers. I really enjoyed my time there and learned a lot about living simple. You get to know the culture. I can really recommend it if you want to know how to live simple and don't having much. Have in mind that you need to bring your own towels and buy your own water and that you need to ask for helping/doing stuff. They will never force you to do anything.

This orphanage in Bomet shows that true happiness comes from love, not from having much. The children lack material things, but they are deeply loved and cared for.
Joseff is the kind of grandfather everyone wishes they had, and Noah is one of the best people I have ever met — devoted, honest, and tireless. We come for the children, but we must not forget those who care for them every day. Permanent volunteers like Noah work without pay or recognition, yet carry enormous responsibility.
Supporting the children also means supporting those who support them.
