🌱Development of a Permaculture, Agriculture and Community Living Space🌾
The experience
Project of permaculture and regenerative living. A living space for holistic learning that combines ecological farming (coffee, cocoa and orchards) with ethical animal husbandry (guinea pigs, chickens, and pigs). Program Details
The volunteer program at Finca La Mandarina is a living, hands-on learning and conscious community-building initiative aimed at environmental regeneration through permaculture. Based on the principles of caring for the Earth, caring for people, and fair sharing, participants actively collaborate in tasks of organic cultivation of coffee and cacao under shade, bioconstruction, responsible water management, and ethical animal husbandry. In exchange for their daily commitment and community spirit, the farm offers accommodation, healthy meals, and comprehensive hands-on training in a setting of cultural exchange and self-sustaining sovereignty.
