Program Details

We offer the opportunity to help turn a 100-year-old ship into a creative hub for cultural events and local artists. We’re a small, international team with entrepreneurs, carpenters, welders, event organizers, artists, and more. We all bring different skills, but we’re working toward the same thing: a space where creativity, community, and sustainability matter.

You won’t just be helping out here, you’ll be part of the crew. We’re all in this together, supporting each other and making sure everyone feels included. Beyond the work, you can expect to share meals, join events, or just hang out with us. We’re serious about what we’re building, and we want you to feel the same way.

Across the street, you’ll find Stadsmakers, our sister organization where people from all backgrounds come together in a cooperative space. It features music rehearsal rooms, a shared dance space, areas for workshops, an outdoor bar, and a Recup station for sustainable living. It’s a fantastic opportunity to meet new people, engage in creative activities, and enrich your social life while being part of a vibrant, community-driven environment. Since we are still working on the boat, you would have to take a shower at Stadsmakers, but again, it’s crossing the street!

Activities & Shift

The working days will start with a free breakfast. Then depending on the necessities of the day, you may do some wood/metal working, painting, cleaning, organizing. If you have electrical or plumbing skills, that’d be amazing! We are hoping to have 4-5 hours per weekday of your help. We will offer a weekly schedule for everyone, so we all know our tasks, and you can also plan your time off.
