Program Details
The volunteer will work alongside USEC to help develop and strengthen a fundraising campaign for a planned safe and inclusive playground for children in Kakuma. Together, we will explore funding opportunities, potential partnerships, sponsorships, crowdfunding and in-kind contributions.
The volunteer will bring their skills, ideas and networks while learning about community-led development and the work of a refugee-led organization. The aim is to leave behind useful fundraising tools, contacts and ideas that can continue beyond the volunteer's stay.
