My volunteering experience at the the hotel was incredible! Daisy welcomed me with open arms from the first day. She has always been available for whatever I needed and demonstrated genuine concern for the well-being of the volunteers, frequently asking if everything was okay and if we needed anything. Working with Zaida was a good experience. She is that person who does a little bit of everything and is always concerned about the volunteers. I was one of the first volunteers at the place; the environment has a lot of potential, but the space was limited for me and other volunteers. We stayed in another guesthouse, and there they further restricted our use of the 'community' kitchen, due to who uses it and doesn't clean. I think there is a lack of communication among the workers, which ends up affecting the stay of those who seek to learn something. Breakfast and lunch were good, but Mrs. Zaza who takes care of everything seemed apparently overwhelmed, so the overload falls on the volunteers. I ended my stay earlier for these reasons.

The limitation on kitchen use occurred due to recurring issues with cleaning and the organization of the spaces shared by some volunteers. Our program is based on collaboration and collective care for the environment.
