This position supports our rainforest tour operation by helping keep our vans clean, organized, and ready for guests. You’ll have one primary area of responsibility: vehicle care. We value clear expectations, reliability, teamwork, and creating a great experience for both our guests and volunteers.
Morning shifts begin around 7:30 AM and total approximately 20 hours per week. You’ll clean and reset the vans needed for that day’s tours, including removing trash, sweeping/vacuuming, wiping surfaces, cleaning windows and mirrors, organizing supplies, and washing or deep-cleaning vehicles when needed. Please report any damage, maintenance concerns, or items left behind to the team.
Please arrive on time and communicate as early as possible if you’ll be late or unable to attend a scheduled shift. Treat vehicles, equipment, supplies, guests, and teammates with care and respect. Keep keys and cleaning supplies organized and return them to their designated place. Complete each van to the agreed cleaning standard before marking it ready. This is a dedicated vehicle-care position; additional responsibilities should be discussed and agreed upon rather than assumed.
