Salt & Coco is a boutique stay and traveller community near Ashwem Beach, North Goa. Our volunteer program is for people who genuinely want to experience hospitality, meet travellers from around the world and become part of our little community.
You’ll work alongside our team, helping with guest experience, reception, community activities and day-to-day property operations. In exchange, you’ll stay with us and get plenty of time to explore Goa, meet people and enjoy the beach lifestyle.
We value initiative we love volunteers who don’t just wait for instructions, but notice what can be improved and contribute their own ideas.
Volunteers help for around 4 hours per day with weekly days off as agreed with the team.
Your activities may include:
• Welcoming guests and helping with check-ins/check-outs
• Reception and basic guest assistance
• Interacting with guests and creating a friendly atmosphere
• Organising small social activities, games, outings or community evenings
• Helping keep common areas organised and welcoming
• Supporting our housekeeping team when required
• Helping with simple day-to-day property tasks
• Sharing creative ideas to improve the guest experience
Shifts may be morning or evening depending on occupancy and operational requirements.
We want Salt & Coco to feel relaxed, but volunteering comes with responsibility.
• Please be punctual and dependable for your agreed shifts.
• Treat guests, staff and fellow volunteers respectfully.
• Keep your own accommodation and shared spaces clean.
• Drinking or partying should never interfere with your responsibilities.
• Guest privacy and property information must be respected.
• If you cannot attend a shift, communicate with the team in advance.
• Be proactive, friendly and willing to help when needed.
