Emiliano and Nico are very cool and welcoming guys and they always tried to help me with everything i did not understand. i was there just 10 days but im sure that when i go to puerto viejo, i will choose this hostel again. the work is easy and you have a lot of time to explore other near cities. i really enjoyed my stay there and i really miss it

Good experience overall! Initially was asked to do social media but changed to cleaning and reception on arrival, but everything else was communicated clearly. Had to leave unexpectedly for personal reasons, but would recommend. The hosts and volunteers are all very welcoming.

That the hostel is a new, small and very family-oriented hostel. I was very warmly welcomed and immediately felt very comfortable and at home. Nico is a great host and manager and also takes very good care of his volunteers. He places a lot of emphasis on ensuring that not only our guests but also us are really well, and he was always very accommodating. The tasks were very simple and the location of the hostel is very central. I would come back again and I am very curious to see how the hostel will develop further :)

I’ve done quite a few volunteering stints in different countries, and I’ve never had such a good time or felt as comfortable as I did at Soul Rebel. The guys are the best and the hostel has a beautiful vibe with people from all over, and there’s a gathering every day. It’s a meeting point for many in town, so you meet a lot of people and there are always laughs. The tasks are very easy, it’s common sense. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to be in a very Latin place. And finally, the location is one of the best; you can walk everywhere without problems. Thanks guys, I already miss you 🫶🏽

Some places are to be enjoyed, and there are places that feel like home. 💛 the hostel was much more than a hostel for me: it was incredible people, shared laughter, sunsets, music, good energy, and memories that I will carry with me forever.
