My 3 weeks stay was lovely and healing thanks to Valle, Ollie, and the team! The community is fun to be with, and there are many opportunities to connect over the staff breakfasts and fikas, together with fellow volunteers. Working hours (5 hours shifts in the morning or afternoon) were respected and tasks included cleaning, laundry, making breakfast, and getting the wagons ready for check-ins. Volunteers get to sleep in their own wagons and the bicycles provided were helpful in exploring the area. Thank you Valle for the unique experience and having me over at the hotel this season! 🌞

Wow! I honestly can't believe the community and work system they have built here. As it's a large hotel, there is a lot of staff and plenty of work to do. However, they have created a great shift system that makes it easy to understand what needs to be done. Give it a couple of days and you'll quickly become part of the team. The biggest thing that stood out was the community. Everyone works together to get rooms ready for check-ins, breakfast served on time. I am definitely coming back in the future to see everyone again! ♥️

The host and coworkers were really kind and helpful. The tasks were easy and chill. Every volunteer gets their own private caravan to sleep in and the kitchen is great. Perfect place to meet new people and enjoy Malmö. The city is chill and has nice views. I really enjoyed my time at the hotel and really hope to visit it again.

My experience at the hotel was lovely, I couldn't recommend going there more!!Valle, Ollie as well as the other people working there are all incredibly nice and really try to make you time there as good and fun as possible. Working hours are always respected, shifts well organized and work in general is quite chill. The location is great as well, as you can easily ride one of the bikes or take a bus to get to the city center, but is still far enough from it to have your peace and quiet. I will miss the breakfasts and fikas with the others dearly🌞💞

It was such a lovely and awesome experience staying at the hotel!! I spent three amazing weeks here and felt so relaxed, surrounded by the greatest people. Valle created such a cool and cozy place with an incredibly friendly and welcoming atmosphere. I'm so happy and grateful that I could be part of the hotel. Thank you for that! I'll miss the fikas very, very much.❤️

I loved my time at the hotel! The people were all soo nice and Ollie and Valle always made sure everyone felt respected and welcomed. You have your own wagon as a volunteer which is great and you can also use their bikes to explore the city. You eat breakfast and fika together everyday and their working schedule is clear from the beginning. Being here and already wanting to come back is a feeling that many other volunteers who have stayed here have shared. Perhaps it's because of all the warmth, kindness, and care that Valle, Ollie, and the other staff show to every volunteer. The tasks are easygoing and well organized, and I had the opportunity to meet incredible people, discover amazing places, and experience the local culture. I had the pleasure of spending 2 months of my summer with the hotel. This volunteer experience has 5 stars and glowing reveiws for a reason! Socialization and meeting new friends was highly encouraged. Each week we were alloted money to throw staff parties which allowed for bonding with our fellow team mates. Reguarding the work itself, it can be a fast paced environment or slow and relaxed depending on which shift you are given. The staff really made my experience unforgetable and I would definitely return for another season!

I stayed with the hotel for 2 months and cannot recommend this experience enough. I met many people from cultures different than my own and was able to learn about what life was like on different parts of the globe. I greatly appreciated the hotel' commitment to sustainability and teamwork. Each week we were allotted money to buy supplies for a staff party which really helped the volunteers get to know eachother. Also the general set up of consistently working with the same 7 volunteers allows you to grow close and make connections.
