🌿🏡 Stay in the Countryside & Help Us Care for 5 Acres
The experience
Enjoy your own self-contained accommodation in exchange for just 2 hours of help per day per person. Program Details
We are Alison and Rupert, and our son Peter lives here too when he is home from university in the holidays. Your accommodation will be a converted stable previously used for self catering holidays, which has one bedroom (with a single bed and a double bed – so suitable for a single person, a couple or two friends), a kitchen and a toilet/shower room, and a cosy seating area, dining table and a TV.
Activities & Shift
2 hours a day, or you can choose to do more hours some days and take some days off.
Rules
No smoking inside the property. No dogs, sorry (as we have a cat and hope to be keeping hens again soon). Your own transport is recommended due to our rural location, but it is possible without (15 minute walk uphill to bus stop - buses to the market town of Leek and to Stoke on Trent where the nearest railway station is. Alternatively there are small village shops within a half hour walk along the canal towpath.
