We are seeking willing hands for our farm in Castiadas, in the beautiful Sardinia! We will dedicate ourselves to creating the vegetable garden 🌱, pruning, the setup of sheep pens 🐑 and a chicken coop, and building dry stone walls. Between November and December we will focus on olive harvest 🫒. In return we offer accommodation, a genuine environment and the opportunity to live close to the beaches.
25 hours of help per week

Our estate is located in Castiadas, one of the most fascinating places in Sardinia. Our project originates from the desire to keep alive the traditional rhythms of the countryside, combining ecological farming with the well-being of the livestock.
The program is designed for those who want to make a practical immersion in rural life, learning varied tasks according to the season. In the spring and summer months the commitment is oriented toward the setup of a new organic vegetable garden 🥕, planting, pruning trees and building protective fences and dry stone walls. Between November and December, instead, the main activity shifts among the olive trees for manual olive harvesting and the subsequent production of extra virgin olive oil.
In addition to outdoor tasks, we share the daily care of the animals 🐑 and the maintenance of order in the house. We guarantee welcoming accommodation, a serene climate and balanced rhythms that will allow you to explore the Sardinian coast, go on hikes and fully relax during your free time.

The tasks include:
Daily nourishment and care for the henhouse and for the sheep 🐑, ensuring periodic cleaning of their stalls.
Soil preparation, sowing the garden, irrigation, pruning of fruit trees and autumn harvesting of olives.
Repair of fences for the safety of the animals and construction of the typical dry-stone walls.
Shared collaboration in the daily tidying up and in cleaning the kitchen 🍳, the bathrooms, the bedrooms and the common spaces.
Keep your own room tidy and clean the shared spaces of the house 🏡 after every use.
Relate always with gentleness, attention and patience with the sheep 🐑 and all the estate's fauna.
