We are looking for someone who enjoys working outdoors and caring for a place over time.
Experience with gardening, landscaping, permaculture or plant care is very welcome, but it is not essential. More important to us are curiosity, initiative, care and the willingness to learn. We appreciate people who can gradually see what needs attention and take ownership of a task.
At the same time, you will not be left alone with a list of jobs. We will discuss priorities together, share what we know about the land, provide tools and support, and give you freedom to bring your own ideas and creativity.
As with everyone at Shangrila, we also ask you to share a part of the simple everyday tasks that keep community life flowing.
