Program Details
This is a slightly different exchange. I’m looking for a video editor to collaborate with me remotely to launch a new YouTube channel using footage I’ve already created. We’ll agree on the project and number of videos beforehand, based on your experience and editing speed.
In exchange, once the agreed work is completed, you’ll be invited to stay with us for around two weeks in spring 2027, with accommodation and food provided. There will be no work expected during your stay, so you can enjoy the land, coast and surrounding area.
Activities & Shift
The project will involve reviewing my existing footage, collaborating with me on the story and direction of the channel, and editing the first videos. I’d also love your input on establishing a consistent editing style and, if you have experience in these areas, YouTube titles, thumbnails and channel strategy.
There are no set daily shifts. We’ll agree on clear deliverables beforehand, depending on your experience. Once those are completed, your two-week stay is yours to enjoy.
Rules
Good communication and reliability are important, as this is a creative collaboration. Please be comfortable sharing examples of previous editing work before we agree to the exchange.
During your stay, this is also our family home, so kindness and respect for personal space are important. We enjoy connecting with visitors while also having independent time. The land is rural, around a 40-minute walk from the village, so this experience is best for someone comfortable with nature, quiet and independence.
