I enjoyed my time here. The work was straightforward and easy, although working outside can be taxing at times with the high humidity and heat, however Fanny always gave us a breakfast break with cake, fruit and juice. The volunteer house was roomy and has everything we needed and close to town and the beach. It is a small community with limited options, so if you are looking for a "nightlife" it might not be for you. The locals were all very friendly and the beach is great!

This was my ever first volunteering and i couldn't have ask for more. I fell in love with the places, the people and the whole experience. Fanny is so welcoming and hospitable, and the other volunteerings were as kind towards me. Definitely recommed it.💗

I don't think hiring just 1 volunteer is a good option. The town is beautiful, safe and quiet but kinda boring if you are looking for meeting new people, it's way too silent and calm, the restaurants opens at 4pm and close at 10pm. I think the host should informed you before arriving all these things, I'm wasn't looking for an spiritual journey, I wanted to connect with more people, share experiences and make new friends but sadly it wasn't provided. I have to thank Fanny for the trust and giving me a full house. I was good, but just that.

I don't think I deserve this rating. The house was exactly as I described, the work as well, and the town was small and quiet too; you never asked if there were other volunteers and I also can't promise that there will be, it depends on everyone's arrivals and stays. Sometimes there are 6, sometimes only one. It doesn't depend on my choice, so I don't understand why this rating. You were well received, this is my job, my commitment to each of you. When you said you wanted to leave earlier, I agreed.

The inn is a very nice Pousada. Fanny is trying really hard to make it comfortable for everyone, both the guests and the volunteers. There's not a lot of contact with the guests, but with the other volunteers you can make great connections! Postal is an amazing place to stay, the beaches are stunning, and the small city is very charming. Easy to feel home. Also the house for the volunteers (Vila Bohemia) is a super nice place to stay! The work is fair, and divers. Fanny leaves space to negotiate about the jobs and the circumstances, which is very nice!

This was my first time using worldpackers and i couldn't have asked for a better experience! Fanny was such an incredible host and would go out of her way to make sure we were enjoying our time here. The work was fair and the accommodation was amazing! The location is also very nice, I didn't know much about the area before but i really enjoyed it. Would highly recommend this place!

My volunteer work in Fortim was very special; Fanny welcomed me as part of the family, I felt really comfortable there, and she also took us to several places in the region. The volunteers' house is well equipped and the work is as agreed, with a large part done in the garden, but the host has total flexibility regarding this and the schedules. It was a great experience!

My experience at the pousada was great! The host is a good-hearted person, very communicative and cares about the well-being of the volunteers. The activities required a certain physical effort but waking up in the morning and working in the soil was excellent for me! The house we received as accommodation was a 10-minute walk from the garden. The place was spacious, comfortable and located very close to the square in the center of Pontal do Maceió. Besides the volunteer activities, the host took us to several places in the region, she made sure that we connected with the local culture.

The experience at the inn in the inn was amazing! For health reasons I couldn't stay the 3 weeks as agreed, but the period I stayed there was incredible! The lodging at the Lagoa house is great, I could stay in a single room and continue with my remote work. Clau was wonderful!!! I loved helping her during that period! Also Fanny took me on outings and was incredibly nice! I highly recommend the experience at Pontal do Maceió! 😊
