Description: Volunteers contribute $15 per day during their stay. This small contribution helps us cover the costs of food, accommodation maintenance, utilities and the daily operation of our community organization. Your contribution also helps us continue creating a welcoming and meaningful environment for volunteers while supporting the activities and projects we run within the community.

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.
Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Permaculture Course: Take part in our Permaculture course for free.

Your creativity will help us show the world the people, culture, activities and positive impact behind our project.
You may help with:
📸 Taking high-quality photos of activities, people and daily life
🎥 Recording short videos, Reels and social-media content
📱 Creating engaging content for Instagram, TikTok and Facebook
🎤 Recording simple interviews and personal stories
✍️ Writing captions, short stories and creative posts
💡 Bringing your own creative ideas for new content
🌍 Showing international travelers what authentic community life in Tanzania looks like

Volunteers usually help around 4–5 hours per day, 5 days per week, with 2 days off to relax, explore Tanzania or work on their personal projects.
Typical activities include:
📸 Photography — Capture community activities, volunteers, local life and special moments.
🎥 Video Creation — Record and edit short videos, Reels and other social-media content.
📱 Social Media — Help create engaging posts, captions, stories and short-form content.
✍️ Storytelling — Share authentic stories about our community, culture and the impact of our work.
🤝 Community Activities — Participate in selected community activities and document them through photos and videos.
💡 Creative Projects — Bring your own ideas and develop creative content that can help us reach more people around the world.

09:00 – 13:00 → Volunteer activities / content creation

Afternoon → Free time, personal projects or exploring the local area
The schedule can be flexible depending on community activities, events and the type of content being created.

4. 🔐 Take care of your belongings — Volunteers are responsible for their personal valuables and documents.
5. 🚫 No illegal drugs or illegal activities — We maintain a safe and respectful environment for everyone.
6. 🍺 Responsible use of alcohol — If permitted, alcohol must be consumed responsibly and never interfere with volunteer duties or disturb others.
7. 📸 Respect privacy & consent — Always ask for permission before taking or publishing identifiable photos or videos of people. Extra care must be taken when photographing children.
8. ❤️ Respect the community and culture — Be open-minded and respectful of Tanzanian customs, traditions and local ways of life.
9. 🔊 Keep noise under control — Respect quiet hours, especially at night.
10. 🗣️ Communicate openly — If you have a problem, concern or special need, please talk to us early so we can help.
