We live in an old traditional house on the island of Koločep just outside of Dubrovnik. The house is surrounded by gardens and Mediterranean vegetation, and we are looking for responsible and motivated travellers who would enjoy helping us take care of it and its surroundings.
You will have the opportunity to experience everyday life in a traditional Mediterranean environment while helping us preserve and maintain the property.
You don't need to be a professional gardener or handyman. What matters most is that you are willing to work with your hands, learn, and take responsibility for the tasks you undertake. If you do have certain skills or experience, such as construction work, carpentry or tiling, please let us know.
By helping us maintain the house and gardens, you will contribute to preserving an old property and its natural surroundings rather than allowing them to deteriorate or be replaced. We try to make sensible use of what we already have, repair things whenever possible, and care for the plants and trees that are part of the property.
