Program Details
Destination Reve Safaris offers volunteers the opportunity to participate in community, conservation, environmental, and responsible tourism initiatives in Tanzania. The program is designed to provide meaningful experiences while supporting local communities and conservation efforts. Volunteers will work alongside our team and local partners and will have the opportunity to learn about Tanzanian culture, nature, wildlife, and sustainable tourism.
Activities & Shift
Volunteer activities may include community support, environmental clean-up, conservation awareness, educational support, wildlife awareness, tree planting, and assisting with local community projects. Activities will be assigned according to the volunteer's skills, interests, and the needs of the project.
Typical activities will be arranged with the volunteer in advance. Volunteers are expected to participate responsibly, arrive on time, follow instructions from the project coordinator, and communicate with the team if they are unable to attend a scheduled activity.
Rules
Volunteers are expected to respect local communities, Tanzanian culture, wildlife, the environment, and all members of the program. Volunteers must follow instructions from the program coordinator and comply with applicable local laws and safety requirements.
Volunteers must behave professionally, respect other participants, maintain appropriate conduct, and take care of project property and equipment. Photography or recording of community members, children, wildlife, or project activities should only be done with appropriate permission. Volunteers must not engage in activities that could endanger themselves, other people, wildlife, or the environment.
Any serious misconduct, unsafe behavior, harassment, discrimination, theft, or violation of local laws may result in removal from the volunteer program.
