Join our international hostel team in the heart of Brașov and experience hostel life from the inside!
We’re looking for a friendly, responsible and proactive volunteer who enjoys meeting people from around the world and helping travelers have a great stay in Brașov.
You’ll work around *4 hours per day / 20 hours per week*, with shifts and days off arranged weekly according to the hostel schedule.
Your main role will be supporting *reception and guest experience*. You’ll welcome guests, help with check-ins, explain hostel facilities and house rules, answer questions and recommend restaurants, attractions, transportation, nightlife and things to do around Brașov.
You’ll also help with basic *reservations and reception operations*, including checking arrivals and departures, updating reservations and access codes in Cloudbeds, answering occasional calls or guest messages and communicating important information to the rest of the team.
Hostel life is about more than reception! We’d love you to help create a *friendly, relaxed and social atmosphere*, interact with guests, occasionally support hostel activities and keep reception and shared areas welcoming.
If you’re *social media–savvy*, even better! There may be opportunities to capture photos or videos, create Stories or Reels and share interesting moments from hostel life and Brașov.
We’re looking for someone with *good English, strong communication skills, reliability, common sense and a positive attitude*. Previous hostel or hospitality experience is welcome but not essential — being responsible, willing to learn and genuinely comfortable around people matters more.
