Work 5 hours a day, 5 days a week, with 2 days off to enjoy Panama! Your schedule is mostly self-managed, with flexibility to organize your hours and tasks independently. You’ll work in close contact with the owner and manager, with support and guidance whenever needed.
In exchange, you’ll receive a private room with a private or shared bathroom, plus access to a shared kitchen. We also provide basic ingredients for you to prepare your own meals.
As our Social Media Volunteer, you’ll help showcase the unique atmosphere and experiences at Catalinas Hideaway through creative and engaging content.
Your main activities include:
Taking high-quality photos and videos of the hotel, guests, food, surroundings, activities, ocean and jungle.
Creating short-form videos and reels for Instagram and other social media channels.
Capturing spontaneous moments and creating regular Instagram Stories.
Helping develop new and creative content ideas that reflect the personality of Catalinas Hideaway.
Brainstorming and planning events together with the owner, manager and team, such as movie nights, workshops, parties, games and kids’ activities.
Creating simple but attractive flyers, posters and promotional content for upcoming events.
Helping promote events and activities before, during and after they take place.
Looking for interesting stories, places, people and experiences around the hotel that could inspire content.
Taking initiative and independently managing your content schedule and creative projects.
Working closely with the owner and manager to discuss ideas, receive feedback and keep the social media content aligned with the hotel’s vision.
We’re looking for someone who enjoys being creative, experimenting with new ideas and capturing authentic moments rather than simply following a fixed routine. You’ll have plenty of freedom to bring your own style and ideas to the role!
