Program Details

This position is for someone interested in documenting the development of the resindency through digital content. We are looking for support with photography, video, editing, short interviews, writing and social media content, helping us communicate the everyday life of the residency, the renovation process, the surrounding landscape and the artistic and material research connected to the project.

The work will be organised flexibly depending on what is happening during your stay. Some days may focus on filming or photographing activities around the house, workshops or outdoor work; others may involve editing material, preparing short texts, organising visual content or creating posts and videos for social media.

We are happy to plan the content together and also leave space for your own ideas and creative approach. We value people who are independent, curious and comfortable taking initiative, while also being open to feedback and collaboration.

In return, you will have the opportunity to experience the development of an artist residency from an early stage, spend time in a rural environment , and learn more about creative research, sustainable materials, artistic processes and cultural projects. The aim is to make this a real exchange where both sides can share skills, ideas and perspectives.

Activities & Shift

The activities will focus on creating and organising digital content about Sande and the development of the residency. Daily tasks may include:

Taking photos and recording short videos of the house, renovation process, activities and surrounding landscape.
Editing photos and videos for social media and YouTube.
Preparing short interviews or informal conversations with volunteers, artists or people involved in the project.
Writing short texts, captions or notes about the residency and its activities.
Organising visual material and helping plan future content.
Developing your own ideas for stories, reels or short videos related to art, place, materials and sustainability.

We usually plan the week together in advance. Some days we may work as a team to film a specific activity, while other days you can work more independently on editing, writing or organising content.

The schedule is flexible and can be adapted depending on the activities happening at the residency, the weather and your own workflow.

Rules

We like to keep things simple, flexible and based on good communication. We ask everyone to respect the house, shared spaces, equipment and natural surroundings, and to keep the areas they use clean and organised.

The schedule can adapt depending on activities and weather, so flexibility is important. We value initiative, but also clear communication and respect for the shared process.
