Program Details

Our program aims to reactivate and bring life to a family-run hotel located in Chinchero, Cusco, which is currently closed and in the process of recovery.

We welcome responsible, enthusiastic travelers, and above all, with an affinity for order and cleanliness. We need people willing to collaborate during this first stage by carrying out tasks such as painting walls, organizing and cleaning common areas, bedrooms and bathrooms, as well as helping to re-equip and organize the kitchen and the bar. We would also like to document the whole process together through photos and videos to create content about the hotel's transformation.

The establishment is already built and does not require structural work. Our goal is to prepare it and put it back into operation before the end of September, progressively turning it into a welcoming tourist space, with Andean identity and a connection to the living culture of Chinchero.

Collaboration will be four hours per day, five days a week. In exchange, we offer accommodation in a shared room with other volunteers of the same sex, previously prepared and clean. We have a bathroom, hot water and access to the kitchen. We will also provide basic breakfast foods, which each participant can prepare. At the moment, we do not have Wi‑Fi.

Each week you will have two days off to rest and get to know Chinchero, Cusco, and other places in the Sacred Valley.

We do not request structural, electrical or dangerous jobs. We are looking for very motivated people who truly enjoy cleaning and order, and who want to live a different experience in the Sacred Valley while helping us bring life back to this family hotel.

Activities & Shift

The activities will be assigned weekly according to the hotel's needs and the number of volunteers present. The collaboration will take place for four hours in the morning, five days a week. The afternoons will be completely free so that each participant can rest, engage in personal activities or get to know Chinchero, Cusco and the Sacred Valley.
