Program Details
Kau Aike Patagonia is a small, locally run eco camp in Puerto Natales that we’re building and improving little by little. We’re looking for travelers who would like to be part of this process and contribute to our growing project. During your stay, you’ll support different areas of the camp while experiencing everyday life in Patagonia and sharing a genuine cultural exchange with us and other travelers.
Activities & Shift
Volunteers help 25 hours per week, divided into 4 working days and 3 days off. Activities vary depending on the camp’s needs and may include welcoming guests, cleaning and organizing common areas, gardening, painting, small repairs, maintenance, and general improvements. Tasks and schedules will be organized in advance, and we value flexibility, teamwork, and good communication.
Rules
We ask volunteers to be respectful, responsible, punctual, and committed to the agreed schedule. Please take care of the facilities, keep your personal camping space clean and organized, help keep shared areas clean and tidy, respect quiet hours and other guests, and use water and energy consciously.
As you’ll be camping during your stay, you should bring your own personal camping gear, including a sleeping bag, sleeping mat, and personal cooking equipment.
Good communication is very important to us, so if you have any questions, problems, or need to change something during your stay, please talk to us openly.
