Hello! We are looking for a singular volunteer to stay with us at Stardew Hotel and asisst the team with daily tasks including housekeeping, breakfast service and guest check-in/ out.
We are a small hotel with only 8 rooms, situated next to the Tsugaike Kogen Ski Resort. Volunteering here, at Stardew, you will be an extended part of the team working at our other, main hotel, La Vista.
25 hours of help per week
Kitchen Hand: Help prepare, finish and serve meals.
Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.
Housekeeping: Help with changing the bed linens and general housekeeping.
Reception: Help with check-ins, check-outs and guest assistance.
2 days off per week
Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.
Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.
Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.
Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.
Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.
Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

We are looking for someone who is reliable, fun and kind! The volunteer work includes:
1. Kitchen Hand; Assistance during breakfast service for our guests.
2. Housekeeping; Cleaning and resetting guest rooms after check-out daily from 10:00am
3. Help clearing snow from the entrance of the hotel
In exchange for your help and willingness to volunteer for 3 months (15 December 2026 - 15 March 2027) we will offer you:
- Free accomodation during your entire stay
- Free meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner)
- Free season pass for Tsugaike Kogen Ski Resort
- Free use of our ski/ snowboard equipment during your stay
The work hours are 5 hours/ 5 days a week. A total of 25 hours per week, with two days off for you to enjoy and spend however you would like.
There is not a set 5 hour shift, but rather, assistance with the above mentioned work throughout the day, making up a total of 5 hours work.
