I couldn't have asked for a more lovely host family ❤️ Gül and Derin were both super caring, and welcoming from the start. They really wanted to share their lives and culture with me, making lots of Turkish foods I've never tried before, showing me their favourite Turkish TV series, and teaching me a lot about their culture through conversations. Communication was really good, there were no unexpected changes of plans, and they were very respectful and thoughtful. I already miss their fun, silly, warm energy, singing around the house, and late Turkish breakfasts on weekends in pyjamas :)
