Melo is a social hostel in Capurgana, a car-free town in the Colombian Caribbean that can only be reached by boat. We want the hostel to be a living gallery: murals, signs, photogenic corners and painted details that tell the energy of the Caribbean. We are looking for painters, muralists and artists who want to leave their mark in a place where travelers from around the world will photograph it. You work 4 hours in the morning, the afternoon is yours, and at night you share 1 hour of activities with the guests.
Activities: create murals and art on walls and spaces of the hostel, decorative painting of areas, furniture and signage, general painting maintenance, create photogenic corners for guests and content.
Shift: 4 hours in the morning, 6 days a week, 1 day off, 1 hour of social activities with guests. Total: 30 hours per week
Minimum stay 2 weeks to 6 weeks. Designs are approved before painting: the Melo identity. Adults only +18. No alcohol on shift. Be careful with materials: here everything arrives by boat. Punctuality and good treatment always.
The art created stays in the hostel and may appear on our networks.
