Program Details
Help us transform a 4-generation-old family farm into a place for healing, connection and community. Tasks include clearing the barn & cellar, moving hay, gardening, planting trees and renovating with natural materials. No experience needed! We work around 4 hours/day, starting around noon. In return: food, accommodation, nature, bikes, peaceful surroundings and a chance to co-create something meaningful.
Activities & Shift
The activities here are a mix of practical farm work, renovation, gardening and helping to slowly transform the property into a welcoming place for connection and personal growth. In the beginning, the main focus will be on clearing and organizing the old barn and cellar, removing old hay from the attic, sorting and moving materials, cleaning different areas and bringing more structure back to the property. There will also be general outdoor work such as raking, carrying wood, maintaining the land and preparing areas for future projects.
Depending on the season, we will also work on the garden, plant trees and prepare the land for the future self-sufficient garden. Later, there will be renovation projects in the house, including clay plastering and working with natural building materials. No previous experience is necessary. I will explain everything and work alongside you, so the most important thing is simply being motivated, reliable and willing to get your hands dirty.
The daily rhythm is relaxed and flexible. I usually spend my mornings with my own routine, meditation and exercise, so there is no need to get up early. We normally start the work around midday and work for approximately four hours, with breaks whenever needed. Once the work is finished, your afternoon and evening are completely free. You can relax in the garden, read, meditate, go cycling, explore the surrounding countryside or visit the nearby towns.
Sometimes we can cook together, sit around a campfire or have a BBQ with my family. Over time, I would also like to create small, voluntary group activities such as sharing circles, meditation or conversations about emotions and personal development. Volunteers are very welcome to bring their own ideas and help shape the atmosphere and future of the p
Rules
I want this to be a peaceful, respectful and comfortable place for everyone, so there are a few basic rules that are important to me. Mutual respect, honesty and consideration are a must. Please respect each other’s privacy, personal space, belongings and different ways of living.
Keeping the house clean and tidy is also very important. Everyone is responsible for cleaning up after themselves, especially in the kitchen and all shared spaces. Please leave things as you found them so the house stays pleasant for everyone.
The property is completely alcohol-free and drug-free. Please do not bring, use or consume alcohol or recreational drugs anywhere on the property.
I also expect everyone to communicate openly if something is bothering them and to treat the place, the animals, the land and the people here with care. Apart from these basics, I want everyone to feel free, relaxed and at home. We are here to work together, enjoy nature and create a positive atmosphere based on trust and responsibility.
