Program Details

The Travel Buddy Basecamp is an immersive Worldpackers experience where selected travelers come together to connect, learn and prepare to become Travel Buddies. During the Basecamp, participants take part in workshops, activities, challenges and community moments designed to build connection, leadership and a strong sense of belonging. You'll join us to capture the people, energy and stories behind this experience.

Activities & Shift

Your main mission is to capture the Basecamp through photo and video. You'll document workshops, activities, group moments, behind-the-scenes interactions and spontaneous stories throughout the experience. We may also ask you to record short testimonials with participants. We value authentic moments and real emotions over staged content. You'll also help organize and deliver the final photo and video files after the Basecamp.

Rules

We're looking for someone proactive, creative and comfortable interacting with people. You should have previous experience with photography and/or video and bring your own equipment. Since you'll be documenting real community moments, it's important to be respectful, discreet and mindful of participants' privacy. Most importantly: enjoy the experience too! We want you to feel part of the Basecamp, not just observe it from behind the camera.
