A friend of mine and I were lucky to be part of this project and to get to know this incredibly wonderful family! My friend had helped in the garden and on the farm, while I had the opportunity to take care of Frau das Zuhause. The family had welcomed us from the very beginning with open arms and hearts, so we immediately felt like part of the family. We can recommend this project to anyone who wants to make a tangible impact on their travels and who, in a foreign country, is looking for a second home :))

I was lucky to spend 2 weeks with this splendid family. From the very start they welcomed me with open arms; Dante, the eldest brother, will guide you through your day and will teach you step by step how to connect with their culture and their cuisine. I loved spending time with Grandma Vichy and learned so much from her. It’s a volunteering experience that gives you the chance to have a real, enriching experience. Dad Fede let me try all kinds of traditional foods, even taking me to watch their sports competitions. I left my heart there ❤️

It has been a pleasure to look after and spend time with Mrs. Viky, a charming woman. Also to meet Dante, the person in charge of the volunteers and a friend I have brought along from this experience. No doubt I am already looking forward to coming back!!

I'm getting better at hosting and I like being able to see the atmosphere and the activities from both viewpoints. I believe that's one of the best ways to be a good host: putting yourself in the volunteer's shoes, understanding their experience, and always ensuring that both sides feel comfortable and enjoy the exchange.

With every stay I'm getting better, and I like being able to see the atmosphere and the activities from both perspectives. I believe this is one of the best ways to be a good host: to put yourself in the volunteer's place, understand their experience, and always aim for both parties to feel comfortable and enjoy the exchange.
