Program Details
You will be joining us as part of the everyday life of the dive centre in Havelock. The idea is to exchange skills, ideas and time, while also giving you the chance to experience island life and some of the activities we offer.
Your role may include guest interaction, social media, content creation, business development, daily operations and ideas around conservation or sustainable tourism, depending on your skills and interests.
Activities & Shift
We usually work around the rhythm of the centre, so no two days are exactly the same.
You may help with guests, content, shoots, planning, social media, operations or other ongoing projects. Shifts and days off will be discussed in advance, while keeping some flexibility for weather, dive schedules and day-to-day activity at the centre.
In exchange for your support, you will also have the opportunity to take part in activities such as scuba diving, kayaking and other experiences we offer, subject to schedules, weather and availability.
Rules
We like to keep things easy, respectful and responsible.
Please be punctual, communicate clearly, treat guests and the team with respect, and look after the space and equipment as you would your own.
As we work closely with the ocean and local environment, we also expect everyone joining us to be mindful of marine life, avoid waste wherever possible and support the eco-friendly practices we follow.
Most importantly, come with an open mind, a willingness to help and a good attitude towards living and working as part of a small team.
