Program Details
Be the face of our accommodation and help other travelers discover the magic of the area! We are looking for dynamic and proactive people who want to live a cultural exchange experience while boosting their skills. In this hybrid role, you will not only be a friendly host at our reception, but also a key travel agent. The best part is that we reward your effort: we offer a 25% commission for each tour package you sell, an ideal opportunity to fund your trip. We will give you a full 2-day induction so you can learn everything about our operations and the tours before you start. The minimum stay period is 2 weeks (to be evaluated at 2 weeks if your profile is ideal). We require intermediate-advanced English and some prior experience in hostels or accommodations.
Activities & Shift
You will work 26 hours per week and have 1 day off to explore the destination. We organize into two fixed shifts to coordinate according to availability:
Morning Shift (7:40 AM to 12:00 PM): Guest reception, early check-ins, provide tourist information, and actively promote the sale of our morning tours.
Afternoon Shift (4:30 PM to 8:50 PM): Process check-ins/check-outs, general reception support, address guest questions, and close sales of tour packages for the following days.
Rules
To ensure harmonious living and order at the hostel, please follow these guidelines:
Kitchen use: The use of the burners/general kitchen, microwave, utensils, and laundry area is strictly subject to two specific schedules set by the house.
Shared spaces: Keep order and cleanliness in the resting area. Your bed includes a privacy curtain, lamp, and power outlet; for safety, your belongings must be stored in your two large lockers.
Punctuality: Reception shifts require exact handovers (7:40 AM or 3:30 PM), so punctuality is essential.
Commitment and Language: Maintain a service-oriented attitude in selling tours and communicate fluently in English with international guests.
