Our program stems from the desire to welcome, in our home in Alghero, Sardinia, a sensitive help for our six-year-old son Gabriel. Gabriel has a rare genetic disease with motor disability; he does not walk independently but is an extremely good, very sweet and playful child.
Our home is located in a strategic and quiet position in the countryside near Alghero Airport ✈️, with a bus stop 🚌 right in front of the house that allows reaching the city and the beaches in only 15-20 minutes. To foster a genuine digital detox and a real human connection with the child and with nature, the house does not have Wi‑Fi.
We guarantee accommodation in a large reserved loft with a double bedroom, as well as shared kitchen and bathroom spaces. You will also live with our beautiful kitten, who will keep you company during these moments with Gabriel.
The stay is based on the daily accompaniment of the child on his return home: Gabriel only needs to be stimulated through play, walks with his walker, and exercises to coordinate motor skills. It is the ideal experience for those seeking a deep human exchange, immersed in the nature and the beauty of the Sardinian sea in your free time.
The activities are aimed at companionship and Gabriel's motor and playground development 👶, following the rhythms of his day:
Gabriel attends nursery in the morning and returns home in the afternoon. The commitment takes place mainly from 16:00 to 19:30, dedicating to educational games 🛻 and exercises to stimulate motor coordination. Sunday morning activity is planned from breakfast until lunch.
There are also planned outdoor outings 🌳 to take walks with the aid of his walker.
Finally, we ask for small and occasional help in food preparation and in tidying the kitchen.
Alcohol and smoking are prohibited 🚭 while spending time with the child.
