We are looking for friendly, responsible, and enthusiastic volunteers to join our team at Ruka Guest House. We are currently looking for volunteers interested in Content Creation 📸 and Front Desk 🏝️. As a Content Creator, you will help us create engaging photos, videos, reels, and social media content to promote our guest house and showcase the beauty of local island life. We are looking for responsible, friendly, flexible, and positive people who are happy to work as part of a team and create a welcoming experience for our guests.
Volunteers will help with daily guesthouse activities for 6 hours per day, with a flexible schedule arranged with the team. Activities may include welcoming guests, assisting with check-ins and check-outs, answering guest questions, helping with basic front desk duties, keeping common areas organized, and supporting the daily operation of Ruka Guest House. For content creators, activities may also include taking photos and videos, creating reels, preparing social media posts, and showcasing the guesthouse and local island experience. Volunteers will have free time outside their 6-hour shift to relax, explore the island, enjoy the beach, and experience local Maldivian culture.
We ask all volunteers to respect our guests, staff, and local community. Volunteers should be punctual, responsible, friendly, and professional while on duty. Please keep shared areas clean and tidy, respect quiet hours, and take care of the guesthouse property and equipment. Volunteers are expected to follow the agreed 6-hour daily schedule and communicate with the team if they need time off or have any concerns.
