Program Details
Two volunteers join us in our town and stay in a private apartment with full board provided. On weekday afternoons, they lead two 50-minute English sessions for children aged 11–14. The focus is on learning and practising English through fun, active games.
Volunteers are encouraged to bring their own ideas and creativity, while receiving clear guidance and support throughout the programme.
About once a month, we also organise a long weekend programme: speaking-focused thematic sessions for adults (e.g. English job interview preparation) or themed weekends for children (e.g. exam preparation).
Activities & Shift
On weekdays, volunteers lead two 50-minute English sessions in the afternoons for children aged 11–14. The sessions focus on playing fun, active communication games in English.
Volunteers have plenty of freedom to bring their own ideas, while receiving clear guidance and support. About once a month, there is also a long weekend programme for adults or children, with themed, speaking-focused activities.
The schedule is organised to ensure a maximum of 20 working hours per week and 2 days off.
Rules
All volunteers must provide a police check (criminal record check) from their home country before starting the programme.
On working days, smoking, alcohol and drugs are strictly prohibited. Volunteers are expected to be responsible, reliable and fully focused on their activities with the children.
Detailed rules, responsibilities and expectations are outlined in the volunteer agreement and explained during the orientation and training after arrival.
