My friend and I had a great experience at the eco village. As soon as we arrived we were welcomed with opened arms. We had a great experience volunteering alongside two other volunteers, many games, laughs and stories were shared. We were fed very well, always looked after, and we were shown hidden gems around the area. Days began early, with a large relaxing time in the middle of the day, often ending with an outing. We are so grateful for the opportunity to share experiences and memories with our new family.

My time at the eco village was amazing. From the moment we arrived at the station we were greeted as family and made to feel welcomed. We were immersed in the local culture eating authentic food, being able to help at the cafe and with very basic tasks that were not demanding. We often had a lot of free time to relax and unwind and plenty of opportunities were offered to us. I would highly recommend this experience especially if you can meet some new Worldpackers. Azka, Rijal and Topan will make you feel right at home, as long as you are willing to commit to the life style you will have the best time!!

I loved my stay at the eco village. From the moment I arrived everyone made me feel very comfortable and a part of their family. It was a really great opportunity to get to know a lot of local people and learn more about their culture. Also, after we helped out in the garden or cafe, every day we did something different in the afternoon to explore the island. I recommend this experience to everyone☺️

My experience at the eco village might have been my favourite volunteering experience ever! The accommodation is simple but clean and the people, who I can now call my family, are most welcoming and friendly. The food they provide is so good and everyone made sure you were comfortable and never bored because we did a lot of activities and saw some amazing hidden gems. I loved every minute of my stay and I've felt like I made some true deep connections. I will definitely come back and I can recommend volunteering here to everyone! 🩷🥹☺️

I had the absolute best time volunteering at the Garden. I truly felt like family and so welcome during my stay. Azka, Richard, and Topan made Lumajang feel like home. It is the most beautiful place with wonderful people. I highly recommend volunteering here you definitely won’t regret it. Working involves helping with the garden, cooking or playing with the village children. I learned so much during my time here and I will never forget it. I looking forward to returning to Lumajang to visit my new family :)

Our experience at the eco village was so special. We were welcomed warmly from day one and treated like we were part of the family. The cafe is the heart of the community and is situated in the national park, offering stunning views of the volcanoes. The experience is much more than gardening, with us getting time to teach and support community initiatives. Our hours were always respected and the hosts took care to make food aligned with our dietary requirements. Finally, they were also able to offer tours to Bromo, Ijen and other mountains for an additional cost, which I would highly recommend

I had the most memorable, magical time at the eco village. From the very start I felt part of the family and everyone there is so kind and wonderful. During my time I helped in the garden and at the local school. I also explored so much of the area including hiking, mt bromo, waterfalls and the best sunrises. I extended my stay as I loved it so much and made lifelong friendships. I can't recommend volunteering here enough and I will definitely be back.

I absolutely loved staying at Kebom the eco village! The team at the eco village accepted me right away and made me feel at home. They offer a truly local experience. My stay was 7 days. Working hours were flexible. My job was to be Azka's shadow. I worked whenever he did, helping with morning sweeping and washing the dishes in the evening. They provided me with three delicious homecooked meals and endless amounts of coffee. Any free time we had we spent driving around the area on Azka's bike; besides Tumpak Sewu, Goa Tetes and temples, he also took me to some secret spots only locals know. It was amazing!

I can only say thanks a lot. Azka pick me up at the train station, and when him greeted me did it with a smile and like that was my entire stay. Him joined me to their group of friends and family from the first minute, sharing with me their culture and mainly time full of laughter. The room was super comfortable. The meals incredibly rich and varied. The work is very super easy, with them everything is fun. Azka took me around, almost every day he improve a plan.
