The experience combines learning, fieldwork, and living together in a natural setting. We are looking for responsible, proactive people who are willing to adapt to the conditions of the Amazon.
Activities & Shift
• Installation and verification of camera traps.
• Monitoring and recording of wildlife.
• Walks and biodiversity observation.
• Maintenance and opening of trails.
• Support in conservation and research projects.
• Maintenance of common areas and spaces in the reserve.
• Support in lodge operational activities when needed.
Rules
Tamandúa is a conservation reserve, so we expect absolute respect for nature and wildlife.
Capturing, feeding, pursuing, or handling wildlife is not allowed without authorization. Volunteers must respect safety protocols, take care of facilities and equipment, keep shared spaces clean, and responsibly fulfill the shifts assigned.
It is prohibited to enter the forest or perform field activities without authorization when there are risk conditions.
Living together is based on respect, collaboration, and responsibility. Living in Tamandúa means adapting to a real Amazonian environment: rain, humidity, mud, insects, animal sounds, and simple conditions are part of the experience. 🌿
