Experience in Quinta was amazing. Hosts welcomed us warmly and we felt like at home. Even though it was raining all the time, we felt nice and cozy in our room🩷. Every day we started with cup of coffee and then continued in our work. Helping around the house, animals or even cutting wood felt more like fun then actual work :))). Quinta is a place, we definitely want to come back to again. 🌸☀️

This was my first ever Worldpackers experience and I have to be honest, it was hard for me to ho back home🧡. I had the best time with the people at Quinta. I loved the nature, the animals, the calmness of everyone at the place☺️. Despite the cold weather and the giant strom😅 I felt incredibly warm the whole time. Repairing and cleaning the Quinta didn't feel like working, it felt more like a bonding activity. I think it was hard for me to leave home because I found another one in Acipreste <3

It was my first time volunteering and first time in Portugal. Since day one Lars and all his family took care of me and make sure that i was comfortable with everything i'm doing. They treated me like a part of family. I could always asked them for help on a farm or after work hours to get me from city or to go to shop. I'm super grateful for this people and whole Quinta. It will be hard to beat this place. 100% recommend to all people who's reading this.

The Quinta is such a wonderful place to be, it's a beautiful property with INCREDIBLE people. I had an overwhelmingly positive experience, Lars, Francine, and Loic were the most welcoming family. I met such awesome volunteers and formed friendships I won't forget! I would absolutely recommend, even if you're not familiar with doing this type of work (I wasn't super well versed in it either) it's a great experience to push yourself and contribute to a project that is good for the environment and community.

This was my first voluenteering experience and I can't be more happier to have been at the Quinta. I got to help with many different tasks from picking pears to doing wood work! I enjoyed that there were a lot of different tasks to do. I had also a lot of time to make plans outside of work hours and got to experience also the surroundings of the area well. Thank you to all at the Quinta for making me feel welcomed and giving me the most joyful time <3 !

My first Worldpackers exchange and it was such a great experience! Lars is an amazing host, and together with his lovely parents, made everything clear and easy from the start. Our little volunteer crew bonded quickly over everything from bottling grape juice and peeling chestnuts to weeding, planting and pruning. The 4-hours of work were fun, with plenty of time to chill by the pool or enjoy the peaceful quinta. The accommodation was super comfortable with lots of quirky touches that made it feel cozy and welcoming. The supermarket is a 15-min stroll away. Overall, an amazing experience. ✌️
