Program Details
Our Worldpackers program requires a commitment, in which you get to do a little of everything: animal husbandry, gardening, weeding, harvesting, landscaping, compost, construction, weeding, irrigation, orchard management, mulching, weeding, and weeding and weeding.
Farming without antibiotics, herbicides and pesticides takes a lot of effort. You will be involved in a lot of physical tasks, with very few formal learning opportunities.
Most of the learning you do here will be through practice and can be a little repetitive sometime.
Our program is more intense than you can maybe think, if you are not familiar with farming.
We offer food (mainly coming from our organic gardens) and accommodation in a campsite (trailers) 🚐 with all the amenities needed among the fields in change of committed help to take care of the garden.
Activities & Shift
5 days a week 5 full hours per day, not in a precise schedule, according to the seasonal needs.
Rules
We need fully committed people interested in really helping us with our little project!
We expect maturity and awareness and high standards for yourself and your tasks, which will be 5 full hours per day, 5 days per week according to the schedule.
Consider this experience like a real commitment, so we follow the rules, the schedule and we respect days off and daily hours.
In exchange, you are rewarded with exposure to a very knowledgeable and dynamic staff, healthy nutritious meals 🥗 and a communal living arrangement in the campsite that you share with a roommate.
If you are certain this is type of experience you are searching for, we can set up an interview to speak more in depth after you have filled out and answered the questionnaire.
