I had the most amazing experience at Nova Fitness Retreat. First of all, the team was very friendly and it was very easy to feel included. Secondly, I found the work in the garden very satisfying. Also, it was very convenient to be free to join any classes of training even during working hours as long as you do yours hours of work per day. Speaking of trainings, they were very intense and I enjoyed them so much ! I had a wonderful time, making new memories with beautiful people and getting back in shape. I would recommand this volunteering mission 100% !

Nick and the entire team at the host made us feel very welcome from the beginning. The experience was amazing from the first day to the last. Michelle and Tony, who are in charge of the volunteers, take great care of all of us and make us feel safe and at home at all times. This has been one of my best experiences ever.

I spent 2 weeks volunteering here, splitting my time between gym upkeep and working at the kiosk (pitching the experience to potential guests and selling promotional packages). Coaches & Staff are genuinely dedicated and friendly; being able to join the full class schedule was a real perk of volunteering here. That said, my experience was shaped by ten straight days of rain, so I'd recommend timing your stay for high season; low season +bad weather = foot traffic drops and the work can get repetitive. Overall, I'd still recommend it!

We loved our time at the host! My partner and I stayed for about 2 and a half weeks and we were sad to say goodbye, hopefully our travels will bring us back to the host! Tony and Michelle welcomed us into the gardening team, the work was good and we had lots of breaks for water when it was hot outside. The food was delicious and classes were 10/10 - a real highlight.

We initially stayed for two weeks and extended our volunteering because we loved the experience. We helped in the kitchen, with gardening, and building a beach volleyball court. The work was easy and flexible, with manageable hours and days off. The dorm was comfortable, with AC and a minibar; the bathroom was outside and there was a hot shower. We had full access to the gym, daily classes, pool, sauna, and ice bath. Bikes and laundry were free, and the healthy, healthy and delicious meals were included. An amazing place, especially if you enjoy or want to start a the host lifestyle!

My stay at the host was a mix of truly unique experiences. I worked in many different areas - from gardening to the kitchen (which I absolutely loved), and I hope a bit of my marketing background was useful too. Nick and his star team managed to turn a simple piece of land into a little paradise on Phu Quoc - a real place of power. It's a space where you can live in harmony away from the noisy center, work in great conditions, and take part in endless activities: hikes, canoe trips, BBQ nights, and all kinds of seasonal celebrations. Highly recommended, no doubt.

It honestly means a lot to hear that your time at Nova felt unique and powerful — that’s exactly the energy we’re building here on Phu Quoc.

We loved having you as part of the Nova community, and I’m genuinely grateful for everything you contributed — from helping in the garden to bringing amazing energy into the kitchen (you absolutely smashed it. And yes — your marketing input was definitely valuable too.

Nova is all about living with purpose, training hard, and sharing real moments.

I absolutely LOVED my time at the host. In my two weeks volunteering there, everyone became like a family to me. The work itself is very manageable and fun as you work closely with employees. The free food is delicious and healthy, the free accommodation is cozy and clean, and the gym + classes are fun and challenging. It felt like a paradise in the middle of the hectic backpacking life. Thank you for everything Nick and I hope to be back someday!!

All the classes are free, which is a great opportunity if the host is your main goal. Some volunteers are accommodated 3 km from the host, with no transportation provided. The houses are isolated and have no clear address. No meals are provided on days off. We also found some staff interactions unprofessional towards volunteers. I would recommend if your priority is the host and you are comfortable with basic, isolated living situation, not if you are looking for a well-organized experience.
