Help us share life at Awaken, a regenerative community at Rancho Delicioso, Costa Rica. We're looking for a creative volunteer to plan content, take photos, film and edit reels, write captions, and help manage our social media. Join Awaken at Rancho Delicioso, Costa Rica, and help us share our vision through social media. Our project brings together permaculture, community life, wellbeing, education, and regenerative experiences.
We are looking for a creative, organized, and proactive volunteer to create content and help manage our social media.
This exchange offers accommodation in return for 20 hours of contribution per week. Meals are not included, so volunteers are responsible for their own food.
Before arrival, we will agree on the dates of your stay, your responsibilities, and your weekly schedule.
You will contribute 20 hours per week: four hours per day, five days per week, with two days off.
Activities may include:
• Planning a content calendar with the Awaken team.
• Taking photos and filming farm activities, community life, workshops, and experiences.
• Editing reels, stories, and other visual content.
• Writing captions and creating designs in Canva.
• Scheduling approved posts and helping manage social media interactions.
• Organizing photos and videos in shared folders.
• Reviewing content performance and suggesting improvements.
We will agree on a weekly schedule together. Hours may vary to cover morning activities, workshops, or events. Any changes will be coordinated in advance and kept within the agreed 20 weekly hours.
• Respect everyone in the community and communicate openly and kindly.
• Be punctual, follow the agreed schedule, and let us know promptly if you cannot attend an activity.
• Ask for consent before photographing, filming, or posting identifiable people. Content involving children requires prior authorization from the team and their parent or guardian.
• Follow Awaken’s communication guidelines and obtain approval before publishing content or making commitments on our behalf.
• Keep account passwords, personal information, and internal conversations confidential.
• Save project content in the shared folders agreed with the team.
• Take responsibility for your own food and clean up after preparing or eating meals.
• Keep your room and shared spaces clean, wash your dishes, and contribute to everyday household care.
• Respect wildlife: do not kill animals or insects, and keep a safe distance from potentially dangerous animals.
• Raise any concerns early so we can address them together respectfully.
