The environment is super nice and friendly, being a smaller place than a normal hostel, you feel right at home🏡
Met people from all places and made friends! Also the duties were absolutely doable and easy. Very good experience!

Lovely place, great host with good communication. Our shared rooms are well organised, girls only so felt safe. Volunteers duties are very fair. Definitely recommend!

Great experience volunteering at this hostel. Abid replies quickly to messages and is always available. When there was an issue with some guests, he reacted immediately and handled the situation very well. He trusted us from the beginning, which made the experience even positive. We also met amazing people at the hostel, which made our the home truly memorable. We recommend this experience!

Unfortunately, my experience did not match the agreed terms. The host required heavy labor at a private residence instead of the hostel tasks described. The hostel was undergoing unannounced renovations, and the provided room lacked heating. Finally, there was a sudden attempt to relocate me to an unregistered property, which led me to leave early with Worldpackers' support. I strongly recommend future travelers clarify all tasks and living conditions in detail before arriving

We chose to leave this the home early as we felt the time commitment and tasks were not representative of the listing and were also not communicated clearly. During the home, there were times we communicated needs to the owner including laundry, cleaning supplies, and plumbing concerns, however did not receive a response for a while. This led us to have multiple uncomfortable situations involving the guests. However, the owner was very kind and understanding of our early departure. This hostel does have a lot of potential but needs better organization and more involvement from the owner.

My experience was over a month ago I left earlier due to a previous manager and the way they spoke to me "Nadia" I left end of December.. Abid is a nice man, he was a very busy man managing other commitments, when I spoke to him to raise any issues he did listen and was sad to see me go.. I was managing a lot of stuff on my own for a while due to no other volunteers at the time , if you do have any issues always raise them .. and communicate that clearly, this was my first volunteer experience , managing the hostel .. and cleaning, the tasks vary

Overall I had a great experience here. Duties included washing, hang drying linings for upcoming guests, vacuuming, and tidying up rooms and common areas as needed. Restocking kitchen and toiletries. The work is not super demanding at all and I found the accommodation to be pretty cozy. Host is not the best with communication however so don't expect much in regard to that. There was one other volunteer there to help me so I didn't have to figure it all out by myself though. I learned a lot and met a lot of amazing people! Very grateful for the experience.

This was my first time volunteering, so at first, I was a little nervous. Since I'm not great at English, I thought I might struggle with the language barrier and cultural differences. But my worries disappeared pretty quickly because the host was super kind! He carefully explained everything about the volunteer work and answered all my questions whenever I needed help. Thanks to him support, I was able to handle my daily tasks without any problems and ended up having an amazing time. The best part of this experience was meeting people from all over the world with different backgrounds. Thanks!

The home was okay, travelling as a couple the work was very manageable and easy to finish in the day however, tasks could be given at any time of the day. The bed was in the dining room so lacked privacy and we woken during the night. The host gave us opportunities for paid work which was useful. Days off were flexible and chosen by us. We were the only contact for the guests & were approached at any time of the day.

Thanks for the feedback. An opportunity was offered to take beds in the dormitory rooms as it's a hostel but that double bed was chosen instead. I don't know why. Then it's highlighted with 3 stars on platform. We wish you all the best for your future endeavors. We don't understand why 3 stars are given though. We'll accept individual volunteers moving forward as we did in the past. Please note our account got paused because of these unfair reviews.
