Program Details
This is a cultural and skills exchange at our family farm near Marrakech. Volunteers help for a maximum of 4–5 hours per day, 5 days per week, with 2 days off. Activities vary depending on the season and may include gardening, olive grove care, animal care, harvesting, painting, creative projects and general farm activities.
In exchange, we provide comfortable accommodation and homemade Moroccan meals. Volunteers also have free time to enjoy the farm, swimming pool and surroundings, explore Marrakech and take part in cultural exchange.
The schedule is flexible and agreed together according to current farm activities, weather and each volunteer’s skills and interests. We prefer stays of at least two weeks.
Activities & Shift
Volunteers help for a maximum of 4–5 hours per day, 5 days per week, with 2 days off.
Activities vary depending on the season and the needs of the farm. They may include gardening, olive grove care, harvesting, feeding and caring for animals, painting, decorating, light maintenance and other outdoor activities. Volunteers with relevant skills may also contribute to photography, video, social media, cooking, languages or creative projects.
The schedule is flexible and organized together. We usually prefer activities during the morning or cooler parts of the day, especially for outdoor tasks. We make sure volunteers have enough free time to relax, enjoy the farm and explore Marrakech and the surrounding area.
Rules
We want everyone at CHEZ LES BR to feel comfortable and respected. We ask volunteers to respect the property, animals, nature, local culture and the people around them.
Please keep your room and shared spaces clean, communicate openly with us, respect agreed activity times and let us know in advance if there is any problem or change of plans.
We appreciate a responsible, respectful and positive attitude. Please be gentle with the animals, take care of the farm and its facilities, and respect the privacy of other guests and volunteers.
Most importantly, come with an open mind, curiosity and willingness to share cultures, skills and experiences.
