We are looking for volunteers who can contribute; we are a couple from Rio de Janeiro who moved to Maceió and opened a hostel, us and our 3 pets.
Our hostel is a family-friendly environment with a lot of good energy; we like our guests to feel at home, in fact it reminds us of grandma's house, because we are very welcoming.
✔️What do we expect?
Someone we don't need to boss around, who knows what to do and, above all, has initiative, e.g.: see the dirty trash bin and pick it up, see the bathroom wet and dry it; here the service is easy, the hostel is new; we opened in May 2026.
✔️What do we offer?
One bed in the shared room, full bed linens, bath towel, Wi‑Fi and air conditioning.
Our shared kitchen is complete; we do not serve breakfast, but everyone has access to coffee powder and sugar to make it; it's a courtesy to guests the coffee.
✔️Will be 5 hours per day worked and 2 days off per week.
✔️3 mornings from 7 to 12 hours

✔️Days off on Tuesdays and the other day to be arranged.

Home Hostel House Rules.
✅️ Quiet hours: From 22:30 to 07:00. Please respect the sleep of other guests. If you arrive late, use the flashlight on your phone and speak softly.
✅️ Check-out: Must be done by 12:00. If you need a late check-out, consult the reception in advance (subject to fees).
✅️ Security: Do not move beds or rooms without notifying the reception. Keep the doors of the rooms closed. The hostel is not responsible for items left outside lockers.
🛏️ Shared Rooms / Organization:
✅️ Keep your belongings inside your suitcase or in your locker. Clean floors prevent trips and respect others' space.
✅️ No hanging clothes: Do not hang towels or wet clothes on the bunks.
✅️ Use the service area clothesline.
✅️ Electronic consumption: Use headphones to watch videos, listen to music or make calls.
✅️ The entry of people not staying in the rooms is strictly forbidden.
✅️ Conscious use: Turn off lights and fans when leaving the room. Air conditioning should be used only at night.
