The hostel day! The experience at the hostel family has been of great benefit. The people have contributed to the opportunity I hoped for. Our host Mr. Sebastião is very considerate and responsible, seriously committed to the app world parkes. I have already recommended the traveler; he accepted. I would like to thank Tião, the hostel owner, for the experience and for the hospitality I recommend it to everyone as it was my first experience I was doubtful at first but soon I saw that his hostel is a welcoming place close to markets, restaurants and the subway, with all certainty it would be my recommendation to everyone who will volunteer, gratitude! About the service hours he was very flexible the environment is well sanitized And the burgers from his hamburger shop have many funny names this was my experience.

My Carioca family, you definitely have to meet them, people as noble and generous as Tião you won't find anywhere else, I would like to emphasize the hostel's exceptional location, as it is located in a residential neighborhood where you can feel safe, just around the corner there is a huge and affordable supermarket for your purchases and a fruit shop, it also has local restaurants at very good prices, the metro station and bus stop are only 3 minutes away and the locals will make you feel at home, my heart stays here, you won't want to leave ever.

Best place for my volunteer work in Rj. Here I found a home away from home. I learned a lot of Portuguese because I live with Brazilian owners who work and live on site, always willing to help. They accompany me, guide me, and something very valuable in Rj: I feel protected. The restaurant staff are very cordial. The accommodation is spacious and with benefits. The location is excellent: a street away there is a supermarket, pharmacies, bars and restaurants at good prices, in addition to the nearby metro. I appreciate the hospitality of Mr. Castro and Tiao for making me feel part of their family.

The shared living experience was great, especially with Laura, Castro, Gustavo, and Jamilson, all very kind and helpful. Tião is also a sweetheart. However, the place already showed serious hygiene problems: the kitchen and room were dirty, food was poorly stored, and there were insects, which made me feel uneasy about eating. Despite the effort to keep things clean, the situation affected me and I couldn't stay until the end, partly because I was feeling unwell. With improvements in hygiene and organization, the experience could be much better.

I do not recommend this hostel for the following reasons:
• There is no organization by the people who manage the hotel. (Task schedules, hours, day off).
• Total lack of hygiene in all spaces.
• There is no respect for belongings and/or personal items labeled in common-use spaces.
• Security is poor due to the type of people who frequent that place.
• The environment is generally tense and uncomfortable situations occur frequently.
• The volunteer room is in precarious conditions that put health at risk.
I think it is a suitable place for worldpackers

BEFORE TALKING BADLY ABOUT OUR HOSTEL, TELL US EVERYTHING THAT YOU DID. YOU DIDN'T EVEN STAY IN THE VOLUNTEERS' ROOM; YOU STAYED IN THE ROOM ALONE ALL DAY, ALWAYS LOOKING FOR A FIGHT. BUT THANKS FOR YOUR NEGATIVE ENERGY AND YOUR HORRIBLE FOOD. OH, YOU SAID THAT YOU WOULD NOT RECOMMEND IT TO OTHER VOLUNTEERS. DO THAT: STAY IN YOUR OWN COUNTRY. HERE WE DON'T WANT PEOPLE LIKE YOU.

Tião is super friendly and very welcoming; I loved spending that time with them there and I was able to deliver my content. Maycon is also a super funny guy and we’re a good bunch and he helped me come up with ideas for the content…. I highly recommend him as my first volunteer, apart from the location which is great
