Rules
What you can expect:
More than simply helping us manage our properties and leaning the operation of vacation rentals through online and physical level, we want this to be an opportunity for you to experience Tokyo from a local perspective. Importantly, Japan has long history of urbanization, especially, in Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto, which created very Crowded areas but still surprisingly tranquil and clean. They have a lot of tacit codes to enable that. You might be taught certain rules. In essence it is how people live without bothering the neighbors. House rules will be shared on arrival. All our properties are no smoking but if you are smoker, you can smoke somewhere away. (Nothing too crazy there!)
You’ll get to interact with people from different parts of the world, learn how guest houses and vacation rentals operate in one of the world’s most exciting cities, be useful and enjoy your free time exploring Tokyo and Japanese culture. Most properties have simple rules such as quiet hours at night no shoes at home in all premises.
① We disperse into own bed rooms and enjoy private time and also help everyone else sleep well.
②Because of house chores, we like to have the nails not too long and hair to be tidy as we want to keep our floor/bath room without fallen hairs even in the volunteers room.
③ Use the bath room quick especially when living in the guest house so that rest of the people do not have to wait.
If you’re responsible, clean, open-minded, flexible, useful and excited about experiencing life in Tokyo, we’d love to welcome you!
